Why did you choose the sustainable value of fashion as the core element of your business?
Erwan: As a young person enjoying progressive education and culture, I was taught to preserve and protect the environment from a young age.
At the present time, we are very proud of the sustainable values that Metiseko always strives to pursue.

What practical difficulties does Metiseko face in operating a sustainable fashion brand in Vietnam?
Erwan: The most difficult problem is the material supply.
They consider Metiseko to be a pattern design brand instead of a fashion brand.
Erwan: Metiseko is not limited to just a fashion brand, it is also a concept and lifestyle store.
Andrea: The technique used to print fabric is called Hand Screen Printing (A hand screen printing technique often used to print patterns on silk).
How does Metiseko want to harmonize Eastern and Western cultures in her designs?
Andrea: The inspiration behind each pattern design is found in the East, more specifically Vietnam, from the simple things in daily life, to the rich beauty of nature here.
What is the brand’s orientation in the next 10 years?
Erwan: Metiseko is a family business model, born and imbued with Vietnamese identity.

What do you think about sustainable fashion and its influential role in the future?
Erwan: If you really care about social life, you will see that in Vietnam there are always problems related to human health such as environmental pollution, dirty food… People are eager to find solutions.
Thank you both for the conversation!
