Ngu Cung (Pentatonic) was founded on October 10, 2007 with members from the Vietnam National Academy of Music: Nguyen Hung Cuong (Drums), Tran Thang (Lead Guitar, Composition), Nguyen Minh Duc (Bass)
Bringing rock closer and more popular to listeners, the Pentatonic Band’s compositions always stick close to life, expressing a view of life through rock.
Ngu Cung has released his debut album Ngu Cung – 365,000.
On October 3, 2014, within the framework of Monsoon Music Festival, the band Ngu Cung had a 60-minute performance introducing the latest songs from the new album `Cao Nguyen Da` in front of 10,000 Hanoi audiences.
`The Stone Plateau` is a colorful picture with many different themes, but the highlight is the theme about the culture and people of the northern mountainous region.
In the live show `Cao Nguyen Da`, besides the hits familiar to the audience of Ngu Cung, the public and experts will enjoy most of the new musical works, presented to the public for the first time.

In this project `Cao Nguyen Da` there is the participation of young and talented traditional music artist: Ngo Hong Quang.
In the live show `Cao Nguyen Da` on December 12, 2014, Ngu Cung is pleased to receive the participation of diva Tran Thu Ha, along with the band Black Infinity, Oringchains.
With enthusiasm and serious artistic work, Ngu Cung hopes to be welcomed by more audiences.
