Needless to say, when our country’s economy was just opening up, the story of women claiming to be single was even more shocking than the fact that today there are women who go around criticizing Vietnamese men for being less `sexy` than Western men.
That’s because the old-fashioned men at that time reasoned so foolishly, but no one thought that the girls in the association were so fed up with men that they wanted to live like `becoming a nun but still eating meat`.
That story happened more than ten years ago.
At the same time, articles abounding in the press are articles glorifying and elevating them to the point of being joyfully praising day and night, the image of a woman taking care of the company, forgetting about housework, with beautiful words like
Actually, if I just look at it from a personal point of view, I don’t consider it bad or wrong.
The feudal picture with the patriarchy of five concubines and seven concubines is having a chance to happen… on the contrary, one wife – several husbands.
